Les mesures de protection des Personnes Agées constituent un cadre institutionnel pour améliorer le cadre de vie de ces personnes devenues vulnérables à cause de leur âge et ceci conformément aux directives définies dans le Madagascar Action Plan (MAP) dans son engagement n° 8 ; et le défi n° 4 : « améliorer l'appui aux très pauvres et vulnérables ».

The measures protecting the Elderly constitute an institutional framework to improve the quality of life of these people who became vulnerable because of their age. This is in accordance with the guidelines defined in the Madagascar Action Plan (MAP) in its Commitment No. 8; and Challenge #4: "Improving support to the very poor and vulnerable."
