Цей Закон визначає основи соціальної захищеності інвалідів в Україні і гарантує їм рівні з усіма іншими громадянами можливості для участі в економічній, політичній і соціальній сферах життя суспільства, створення необхідних умов, які дають можливість інвалідам ефективно реалізувати права та свободи людиниі громадянина та вести повноцінний спосіб життя згідно з індивідуальними можливостями, здібностями і інтересами
This law defines the framework for social protection of disabled persons in Ukraine and guarantees them equal with all other citizens opportunities to participate in economic, political and social spheres of society. It is designed to create the conditions that give disabled persons the opportunity to effectively implement the rights and freedoms of all citizens and to lead a full life in accordance with individual abilities, skills and interests
