Description

1.- Promover y asegurar mejoras en las condiciones de vida de las personas con discapacidad mediante la generación de oportunidades laborales, sociales y culturales a través del desarrollo de programas y proyectos específicos en el marco de la lucha contra la pobreza;
2.- Implementar, ampliar y asegurar la oferta de servicios de salud y de rehabilitación, a través de asistencia social, nutricional, medica, docente y de orientación y formación profesional, así como ayudas técnicas y la entrega de ayudas compensatorias;
3.- Garantizar el acceso universal y la gratuidad a la educación promoviendo el desarrollo físico y mental de los educandos bajo un marco de carácter inclusivo;
4.- Eliminar progresivamente las barreras de todo tipo (mentales o de actitud, físicas, comunicacionales, en el transporte, etc.) para promover la plena participación de las personas con discapacidad en todas las esferas de la sociedad;
5.- Promover la activa participación de las personas con discapacidad en todas las esferas de la actividad humana: económica, social y cultural en la planificación y en la toma de decisiones que les competa a nivel nacional, regional y local.
