L’objectif général de la Politique Nationale de Jeunesse est : assurer le bien être des jeunes en faisant d’eux les acteurs et les bénéficiaires du développement national.
Quatre objectifs intermédiaires sous-tendent la Politique Nationale de Jeunesse. Ce sont :
1) Améliorer les conditions de vie des jeunes ;
2) Assurer la protection des jeunes ;
3) Développer le sens du civisme et du patriotisme chez les jeunes ;
4) Renforcer la participation des jeunes dans le processus de développement national.

The overall objective of the National Youth Policy is to ensure the well being of young people by making them both actors and beneficiaries of the national development.
Four intermediate objectives underpin the National Youth Policy. These are:
1) Improving the living conditions of young people;
2) Ensuring the protection of young people;
3) Developing a sense of citizenship and patriotism among young people;
4) Strengthening youth participation in the national development process.
