This general health policy on adolescents and young people also stipulates some policy on Mental Health and substance abuse

The broad aim was to ensure that the nutrition; accidents; drug abuse; career and policy is up-to-date vis-à-vis current health trends employment; parental responsibilities and social and policy frameworks including the revised adjustment; and education. Between 1995 and National Health Policy and the Millennium 2006, several important changes have occurred in Development Goals. There was a need for a revision of the policy to reflect the the policy development process, it is expected that this revised policy will provide the required framework & appropriate interventions.
