Description
The Children, Young Persons and Their Families Act 1997 (the Act) commenced in 2000. Its objective is to provide for the care and protection of Tasmanian children and young people who are at risk of abuse or neglect in their family unit, in a way that maximizes their ability to reach their full potential.
