La ley número 141 de septiembre de 2010 amplia la ley 338 del 31 de diciembre de 1998, denominada “Carta de los Derechos del Niño”. El objetivo de dicha ley es reconocer una serie de derechos dirigidos a asegurar el bienestar y la protección de los niños y jóvenes en Puerto Rico.
