La presente ley se fundamenta en el párrafo sexto del artículo 4o. de la Constitución Política de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos, sus disposiciones son de orden público, interés social y de observancia general en toda la República Mexicana y tiene por objeto garantizar a niñas, niños y adolescentes la tutela y el respeto de los derechos fundamentales reconocidos en la Constitución.Act on the Protection of Child and Adolescent Rights.
