Description
Where in any Act or other law in force prior of the Supreme Court, that reference shall be deemed to be a reference to the High Court or to a Judge of the High Court as the case may be.From 7. (2). The High Court shall have and may exercise in relation to the persons and estates of idiots, lunatics and persons of unsound mind in Antigua and Barbuda, the jurisdiction which was exercised in England by the Lord Chancellor for the time being entrusted by the signed manual of Her Majesty, with the care and commitment of such persons and estates under the Lunacy Act, 1890, of the Parliament of the United Kingdom.
