Description

The Constitution of Saint Lucia is the set of rules which regulate the relationship between the major organs of the state; the Legislature, the Executive and the Judiciary as well as the institutions within these organs. Like the constitution of many countries, these rules also establishes the structures, procedures, powers and duties of the government to ensure good governance. As the set of rules which defines the powers and limits of the government, it also guarantees the protection of the fundamental rights of the people.
