Customized technical assistance

The Knowledge Hub for Public Awareness offers technical assistance to support the implementation of actions under Article 12 of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control.

Assistance can range from one-off expert advice to more in-depth methodological and practical support, depending on the needs of the Parties. It can cover all stages in the implementation of an action, from the diagnosis of the situation prior to its implementation to the evaluation of its implementation and effectiveness.

For example, we can provide support in: identifying evaluated and effective existing actions; choosing the target, the objectives and the content of a campaign; designing an evaluation protocol...

The objective of the Knowledge Hub, through this assistance, is not to provide turnkey solutions, but to provide technical support. Our support will enable the Parties taking ownership of the actions to perform, adapting them to the reality of their country, in a sustainable way.

Training and workshops

One of the objectives of the Knowledge Hub for Public Awareness is to help strengthen the skills of the Parties to the Convention in implementing Article 12. To this end, we offer training courses and workshops tailored to the needs of the Parties.

Webinars

The Knowledge Hub regularly organizes webinars to disseminate knowledge and share best practices in the implementation of Article 12, and also participates in webinars and events organized by other tobacco control stakeholders.
