Одна из крупнейших табачных компаний «Бритиш-Американ Тоббакко» начала реализацию на территории Евразийского экономического союза никотинсодержащей продукции для сосания под товарным знаком «LIFT». Продукт представляет из себя аналог табачного изделия «снюс», отличие заключается лишь в отсутствии табачного сырья. В состав такой продукции входит никотин и различные пищевые добавки, в том числе ароматизаторы. Порции продукта носят название «пэки» или «паучи». Выпуск в обращение данного изделия спровоцировал массовое производство продуктов с никотином в различных вариациях (конфеты, пастилы). В совокупности это привело к многочисленным отравлениям несовершеннолетних, в связи с чем были приняты срочные меры по изъятию данной продукции с рынка. Учитывая все риски, связанные с регулярным появлением новых никотинсодержащих продуктов, их агрессивный маркетинг и продвижение прежде всего среди подростков и молодежи, и в обход всем законам, а также низкую пока, но неуклонно растущую распространенность потребления ЭСДН, включая ИНТ, необходима законодательная инициатива о полном запрете производства, импорта, оборота и потребления любой никотинсодержащей продукции (не являющейся фармацевтическим препаратом) в Российской Федерации. Information/notes to B17: According to data of National Public Health Institute in 2018 3.8 % of people used electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENDS) (5.0 % males, 2.6 % females). Users of ENDS included current daily and occasional users (less often than daily). Compared to 2016 percentage users both men and women declined. The highest percentage of users was in the youngest age group 15-24. GYTS, 2016. ELECTRONIC NICOTINE DELIVERY SYSTEMS: 11.2% of students, 12.5% of boys, and 9.8% of girls currently used electronic cigarettes (Used electronic cigarettes anytime during the past 30 days; Students refer to persons aged 13-15 years who are enrolled in school.) Comprehensive (on tobacco industry independent) information on use of heated tobacco products (HTPs) has not been available yet. New data (2019) will be published by National Public Health Institute later this year. India SEA Online Reporting Mechanism: The National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP) was launched in 2007-08 during the 11th Five Year Plan and is being implemented in three tier structure viz.
