WHO Conducts National Emergency Medical Teams Training in Timor-Leste
WHO conducted the First National Emergency Medical Team Training of Timor-Leste on 21-23 October 2019 in Dili. This was organized by Ministry of Health with 35 representatives from the Ministry of Health, Health Emergency Operations Center, National Hospital and 5 Regional Referral Hospitals participating.
DPR Korea Conducts National Training on Emergency Medical Teams
WHO conducted the first DPR Korea National Training on Emergency Medical Teams on 26-28 August, in Pyongyang.
Thirty-one participants from the Ministry of Public Health, the Health Emergency Operations Centre, the National Center for Communicable Diseases, Central Hygienic and Anti-Epidemic Institute, the emergency departments of key tertiary level hospitals and key University hospitals across the country attended the training.
Strengthen emergency medical teams for better response to disasters: WHO
New Delhi, 6 September 2018: The World Health Organization today called upon countries in its South-East Asia Region to strengthen emergency medical teams, to be better prepared to respond to public health emergencies.
