Technical support and assistance for polio eradication and post-polio transition planning
Deliverables
Successfully guided Iraq’s polio transition strategy, making it the first country in the region to complete the polio transition process in 2023. Coordinated national and subnational training sessions for healthcare providers on polio surveillance, outbreak response, and vaccine stock management. Provided technical guidance in aligning Iraq’s immunization policies with the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI) roadmap
