In 2026, WHO Madagascar provided technical support to the One Health Platform to develop and validate the National Action Plan to Combat Antimicrobial Resistance (NAP-AMR 2.0), 2026-2030. This activity funded through World Bank Preparation and Responses to Pandemic was fully implemented by WHO Madagascar's AMR department. The final AMR Action plan was validated in June 2026 with key stakeholders.
