view | Completed | Scaling up the Quality of care and patient safety in Kyrgyzstan recommended by the QOC assessment and further collaborative consultations | QoC unit of MoH capacity strengthened , WHO supported MoH with development of the Quality of Care and Patient Safety (QoC&PS)strategy and road map which has been approved on 4 May 2023. The Coordination Committee on QoC and PS with a function to lead implementation of QoC &PS strategy has been approved on 31st May 2023 # 657. WHO coordinated the QoC strategy development TA with World Bank and co-lead the Quality Strategy Consensus Building Workshop held on 11-13 January 2023 prior to approve of QoC&PS strategy. Kyrgyzstan was invited to become a member of WHO European Quality of Care & Patient Safety Focal Points Networks at its first organizational Joint Meeting organized by the WHO Athens Quality of Care and Patient Safety Office in May 2023, in Athens, Greece. The MoH representatives presented the QoC strategy among the 26 countries from the European region of WHO. the plans for next 6 months preliminary agreed to support MoH QoC unit capacity building. |
