Kyrgyzstan WHO leadership in donor and development partner coordination and advocacy

WHO convenes and sets the agenda for the Health Development Partners Coordination Council meetings which take place at least 5 times a year

In 2023 WHO called 5 Health DPCC meetings: on 25 January 2023 to coordinate and align DPs activities in PHC, on 17 March 2023 to inform Health DPCC on the WHO onsite review of National Measles and Rubella Laboratory, WHO missions on strengthening Procurement and Supply of medicines in the public sector, the UN Inter-Agency Task Force mission on NCD and mental health investment cases, he WHO Tracking health spending in Kyrgyzstan mission, and update from UNICEF on the health sector priority actions. The Health DPCC meeting held on 30 March 2023 was called upon the MoH request to inform DPs on big task in front of MoH to develop the new 7 years action plan for implementation of State Health Program "Healthy Person-Prosperous Country" 2019-2030. The other DPs meeting were focused on discussion of release of Health system in Transition 2022 – Review of health system of Kyrgyzstan, information on the MoH Official Development Assessment to the health sector of Kyrgyzstan in 2020, introduction of national action plan for health security (NAPHS), measles outbreak, WHO Country Cooperation Strategy for 2024-2030
