A rabies prevention and treatment network model based on the One Health  approach by public health, veterinary medicine and epidemiology is established to assist the Philippines in the elimination of rabies. 

1. Novel diagnostic methods for rabies in canines and humans are established in testing facilities in the Philippines. 2. An integrated laboratory-based surveillance system on the basis of the One Health approach for the control of canine and human rabies is established in the target area of the Project. 3. Evidence-based intervention means for the elimination of canine and human rabies are developed.
