In my ongoing quest for additional training material, I wonder if any of you can assist with providing me with any of the following:
1 Copies of entries/formats of Ships Engineers log books
2 Crew/Officer Mess Room photographs (either clean or not so clean)
3 Copies of garbage receipts from various ports

Dear Colleagues,
I had been researching various documents and was particularly interested in the FAL documents that we often see (e.g. IMO General Declaration, Ships Stores Declaration, Crew List etc).
Whilst I have seen these documents many times before, I hadn't really given any thought to the convention behind them: The Convention on Facilitation of International Maritime Traffic, 1965 or FAL convention.

Dear colleagues,
A highly Ebola suspected case, pending lab confirmation, has been detected yesterday in Hoima district in Uganda. Hoima district shares border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo across Lake Albert. Hoima is located approximately 230 kilometres, by road, northwest of Kampala, the capital of Uganda and the largest city in that country.
If the case is confirmed, it would ring alarm bells regarding the spread of the disease to a neighbouring country marking,thereby, the shift of the outbreak from one stage to a higher one. Here is the link:

Annex 9 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation obliges states to draw up a national pandemic plan for aviation. The ICAO template is useful for this. It would be interesting to see the different approaches in individual countries and to learn from them. If you, as CAA or together with the CAA, have prepared a national pandemic plan specific to aviation, I would appreciate a copy of the document (preferably in English or French).

If an aircraft asks for a emergency landing for a sick passenger and during the landing the passenger dies (not Destination airport) .Is the remain lowered or continues on board to Destination airport.
also if passenger dies during flight .aircraft ask to emergency landing or complete to last distination
