What would you do? - Case study 1 (Legal)

Please consider the scenario I encountered last year. Please only consider the implications concerning the Maritime declaration of Health and the SSC. Individual countries national legislation should not be discussed.

An interesting Ship Sanitation Case?

It was tempting to put this in my "What would you do?" thread.

I found this news item tonight (see link below) and as well as being rather unusual it perhaps does raise some interesting possibilities. Good luck if you get called to deal with this vessel and let us know what happens. It could then really make a fascinating "What would you do?" thread

What would you do?

Dear PAGNET members,

Firstly, may I wish you all a Happy and Successful New Year.

Secondly, I was hoping to start some discussions around the issue of Ship Sanitation Certificates and Vessel Inspections to share experiences, ideas, good practice and learning. My thought was to try a series entitled "What would you do?". By using real life scenarios, we can discuss what was found, what could be done and any other relevant matters. I am happy to kick off (sorry, I am a football fan) with an example shortly. Before then I would suggest some rules for any discussions:
