The Global database on the Implementation of Nutrition Action (GINA) is an interactive platform for sharing standardized information on nutrition policies and actions, i.e. what are the commitments made and who is doing what, where, when, why and how (including lessons learnt)…. More about GINA
The TFA Country Score Card has been published in GINA. WHO monitors countries' progress in implementing legislative and other measures to reduce and eliminate industrially produced trans-fatty acids (TFA). The TFA Country Score Card tracks countries’ mandatory TFA limits and related monitoring mechanisms, other complementary measures, and national policy commitments.
GINA has been updated with country data from the WHO 2nd Global Nutrition Policy Review 2016-2017, which compiles updated information on countries’ progress in developing and implementing policies and actions to achieve the Global Nutrition Targets 2025 adopted by the 65th World Health Assembly (WHA) in 2012 as well as by the 2nd International Conference on Nutrition (ICN2) in 2014.
