  5. WHO reserves the right to not publish contributions that are perceived to promote commercial or business interests, or where in the opinion of WHO the contributor or his/her employer has a conflict of interest in relation to the subject matter of the proposed contribution.
  1. Contributors will be solely responsible for their contributions to the GINA platform. Contributors must ensure that any material, data or other information they post is their own work, is not defamatory and does not violate or infringe upon the copyright, patent, trademark or any other personal or proprietary rights of any third party. If any content subject to such rights is considered for posting, contributors must first obtain all necessary permissions for posting from the owner of such rights.

  1. Before uploading materials, contributors must verify using an antivirus software that there is no virus in the materials.

  1. Contributors should be careful with humour and the tone of their postings, bearing in mind that GINA users come from different age groups and cultural backgrounds. In this regard, no criticism of peoples, gender, race, religious beliefs, countries, or regions will be tolerated.

  1. With the submission of a contribution, the contributor grants to the GINA user community, free of charge, permission to use part or all of the contribution for educational or other non-commercial purposes within the context of nutrition interventions. Copyright in the contribution will remain with the contributor. If the contributor does not wish the GINA user community and the World Health Organization to use the contribution, the contribution should not be submitted.

  1. Contributions to the GINA platform are for use of the GINA user community and the World Health Organization. Reproduction or translation of substantial portions of the contributions, or any use other than for educational or other non-commercial purposes within the context of nutrition interventions, require the prior authorization in writing.

  1. Contributors alone are responsible for their contributions, and the readers alone are responsible for the interpretation of these contributions, whether edited or not. The World Health Organization does not warrant that the information contained in the contributions or otherwise in the GINA platform is complete or correct and shall not be liable for any damages whatsoever arising out of the participation in the GINA platform and/or the use of contributions.

  1. To maintain the quality of the GINA platform, WHO may edit or remove messages that do not respect these terms of use. Participants may also be contacted in the event contributions or comments require further clarification.

  1. Every effort will be made to resolve amicably any matter that may arise concerning the GINA platform and the contributions. In the unlikely event an amicable resolution cannot be found, the matter will be resolved by conciliation or by arbitration in accordance with the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules, with the arbitral award being final.
