Mandate: 

To develop and review standards and guidelines for nutrition assessment information, review and contextualize relevant international guidelines for Afghanistan, review and validate nutrition assessment and information collection, analysis and reporting, centralize nutrition information, disseminate and advocate for action, offer technical support on nutrition assessment and information when and as needed, strengthen multi-sectorial linkages on nutrition assessment and information through direct participation at various forums, promoting knowledge management among partners, promoting documentation of success stories/lessons by stakeholders; success stories to feature in annual AIM WG newsletter/cluster quarterly bulletins, strengthen continuity of AIM WG partnership with stakeholders and monitor-use of evidence based information for decision making. Providing strategic guidance to strengthen the nutrition capacity development program, IMAM programming, IYCF programming, and Micronutrient programming in Afghanistan.
