The Global Nutrition Policy Review 2016–2017 is the report of the second comprehensive analysis of nutrition-related policy environment, coordination mechanisms, available capacities and actions being taken in 176 Member States (91%) and one area which responded to the survey carried out between July 2016 and December 2017.
Applies to all foods. Limit the trans fat content of vegetable oils and soft, spreadable margarines to 2% of the total fat content and limit the trans fat content for all other foods to 5% of the total fat content, including ingredients sold to restaurants. Applies to all settings. Voluntary. We only have conditions for labelling of trans fatty acids, not for foods in general.
