Mandate: 

Mandated to monitor compliance with national legislative or other appropriate measure. Monitoring in: health facilities, media, billboards, retail shops, pharmacies, other (bazars , mobile companies, in pilot district).

Notes: 

Monitoring has been conducted since 2010. In august 2015, it was planned to conduct monitoring in all health facilities. The last monitoring exercise reported to WHO in 2014 took place nationwide in all regions and districts. Monitoring is done in health facilities, media, retail shops, pharmacies. Report has been published: Monitoring on implementation of the law to protect breastfeeding and iodine deficiency. Sanctions were imposed on the violations identified during monitoring, including administrative sanctions, letter had been send).
