Mandated to monitor compliance with national legislative or other appropriate measure. Monitoring in: health facilities, retail shops, pharmacies, other (producers)

Notes: 

Monitoring has been conducted in Austria since a very long time (see Food Act 1975), according to the national control plan. It is an ongoing process in Austria. Sanctions were imposed on the violations identified during monitoring, including administrative sanctions. The administrative authorities are responsible for fines.
