WHO (2013) Global Nutrition Policy Review. What does it take to scale up nutrition action?

The Global nutrition policy review is based on a questionnaire survey conducted during 2009–2010, in which 119 WHO Member States and 4 territories participated.

Measures to affect food prices (e.g.high fat, salt, sugary products) was reported during the WHO Global Nutrition Policy Review (GNPR) 2009-2010. Round tables of representatives of National Committee for realization of FNAP, experts in nutrition and food technology, and producers of meat products, bread and bakery products and soft drinks were organized and possibility for joint action were discussed. Reduction of fat and sugar content in some foods and drinks was realized in a number of enterprises due to activities in region/local level.
