The Global nutrition policy review is based on a questionnaire survey conducted during 2009–2010, in which 119 WHO Member States and 4 territories participated.

Implementation details : 

Measures/initiatives to remove/reduce the salt content of processed foods was reported during the WHO Global Nutrition Policy Review (GNPR) 2009-2010. Participation in the European Salt Action network.Co-operation with researchers to reduce salt intake, for future reporting of intake-data to EU.Ongoing dialog between Government, state agencies as the National food administration, and the Food Industry to reduce the salt content in products.
