Public-use dataset noncommunicable diseases risk factors health surveys tobacco use alcohol use diet nutrition salt physical activity blood pressure overweight obesity diabetes hypertension blood glucose cholesterol triglycerides HDL cholesterol oral health STEPS STEPS is a household-based survey to obtain core data on the established risk factors that determine the major burden of NCDs. Nepal National coverage Individuals Adults aged 15-69 years. Sample survey data [ssd] A multi-stage cluster sample of households. One individual within the age range of the survey was selected per household. See Chapter 2 of the Survey Report for more detail. Face-to-face [f2f] Blood samples were drawn and analysed in a laboratory for the Step 3 blood measures. The overall response rate was 98.6% for STEP 1, 98.3% for STEP 2 and 89.8% for STEP 3.
