Public-use dataset adults noncommunicable diseases risk factors health surveys tobacco Global Adult Tobacco Survey (GATS) The Global Adult Tobacco Survey (GATS) is the global standard to systematically monitor adult tobacco use and track key tobacco control indicators. GATS is a nationally representative household survey of adults 15 years of age or older, using a standard protocol. It is intended to generate comparable data within and across countries. GATS enhances countries' capacity to design, implement and evaluate tobacco control interventions. Pakistan National Individuals Adults aged 15 years or older. Sample survey data [ssd] A multi-stage, geographically clustered sample design was used to produce nationally representative data. A total of 9,856 households were sampled and one individual was randomly selected from each participating household to complete the survey. Face-to-face [f2f] See Sample Weights Manual. There were a total of 7,831 completed individual interviews with an overall response rate of 81.0%. The data is being distributed without warranty of any kind. The responsibility for the use of the data lies with the user. In no event shall the World Health Organization be liable for damages arising from its use.
