The Global Polio Laboratory Network (GPLN) was officially established in 1990 by WHO and national governments. Its primary responsibility is to distinguish polio as a cause of acute flaccid paralysis (AFP) from diseases other than poliomyelitis.
By signing into GPLN, the user confirms that they will act in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Polio Data Sharing Agreement between WHO, GPEI partners and agreed collaborating institutions.
