Establishment of a National Fast Response Medical Team in Armenia

A National Fast Response Medical Team (AABT) will be established in Armenia under the auspices of the RA Ministry of Health and Emergency Situations. The National AABT is created with the support of the World Health Organization (NAHK), AABT Secretariat and ASB Georgian Office. AABT is a priority as a mechanism for responding to emergency situations.
The official launch of the creation of AABT was given on November 18, 2021 at the meeting of high-level stakeholders. Flavio Salio, EMT Network Leader was present at the meeting where concrete steps aimed at the creation of AABT were discussed and the concept of cooperation was signed.
