Welcome the Chair of the EMT Strategic Advisory Group (SAG), Professor Leonard Notaras

The Emergency Medical Team Secretariat would like to welcome the Chair of the EMT Strategic Advisory Group (SAG), Professor Leonard Notaras. Professor Notaras is the Executive Director of the National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre and has been a staunch supporter of the Initiative and its network since its inception. He will be chairing the SAG for the next 2 years as it advises on the strategic direction of the Initiative, drawing from his experience and that of his predecessor Ambassador Toni Frisch who chaired the group for the last five years.

Establishment of a National Fast Response Medical Team in Armenia

A National Fast Response Medical Team (AABT) will be established in Armenia under the auspices of the RA Ministry of Health and Emergency Situations. The National AABT is created with the support of the World Health Organization (NAHK), AABT Secretariat and ASB Georgian Office. AABT is a priority as a mechanism for responding to emergency situations.

EMT Sessions at the Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Weeks (HNPW)

Join the Emergency Medical Teams sessions at the Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Weeks - HNPW! On week 2 (09-13 May) of the HNPW, the EMT Network will be having face to face sessions to update member states, partners and networks on its current activities, emergency responses and the strategic direction of the Initiative and its Network. The sessions will be in Salle 14 of the International Conference Centre (CICG) in Geneva, Switzerland and will have the option for remote participation for those that are unable to join in person.
