Participant information
You are invited to take part in a World Health Organization (WHO) survey about gonorrhoea treatment.
The purpose of this survey is to gather perspectives from health care providers, programme managers and other relevant professionals regarding gonorrhoea treatment. This includes views on treatment characteristics, perceived patient acceptability, implementation feasibility, equity, follow-up requirements, and antimicrobial stewardship in clinical, programme, policy and service-delivery contexts. The findings will help inform WHO guideline development on gonorrhoea treatment.
You are being invited to take part in this survey because you work in a role related to STI clinical care, programme management, policy, implementation, or service delivery.

The survey takes approximately 5–10 minutes and is available in English, Arabic, French, Russian, Chinese and Spanish. It may be accessed through a generic link or QR code. You do not need to create an account to participate.

Participation is voluntary. You may skip any question or exit the survey at any time before submission. Once you submit your responses, they cannot be withdrawn because the survey is anonymous and your responses cannot be linked to you personally.

Your participation is fully anonymous. We do not collect any personal information (e.g. name, contact details, or other direct identifiers) or share your responses with third parties. We do not collect IP addresses or other device information. The survey will record the date and time of completion for administrative and data quality purposes. Your responses will be analysed together with those of other participants and reported in summary form only.

Because the survey includes potentially sensitive questions about sexual health and service delivery, you may wish to complete it in a private setting if possible.

If any question makes you feel uncomfortable, you may skip it or stop the survey at any time. If you feel distressed or need support, please consider contacting a local support service, mental health support service, or relevant professional or community organization in your area.

If you have questions about the survey, please contact: mccartneyd@who.int.
For ethics-related queries or complaints, please contact the WHO Ethics Review Committee Secretariat: ercsec@who.int.

This survey is open to participants worldwide until 12 June 2026 (23:59 CEST).
