Online invitation to submit best practices, experiences and lessons learned, to contribute to the development of a draft global action plan to promote the health of refugees and migrants

In May 2017, resolution WHA 70.15 on ‘Promoting the health of refugees and migrants’ was endorsed at the 70th World Health Assembly. The resolution urges Member States and requests WHO to identify and collect evidence-based information, best practices, experiences and lessons learned on addressing the health needs of refugees and migrants, in order to contribute to the development of a draft global action plan on promoting the health of refugees and migrants, to be considered for adoption at the Seventy-second World Health Assembly in 2019, and to report back to the World Health Assembly.

To undertake this activity, WHO is inviting Member States, institutions, networks, civil society groups, individuals and relevant organizations involved in refugees’ and migrants’ health, to provide evidence-based information, best practices and lessons learned on addressing the health needs of refugees and migrants via an online submission.

This online submission will close on 20 January 2018.

You have the possibility to re-submit further details using this online form at any time until 22 September 2017. If you have difficulties in completing the form online, you can complete the form in a Word file and send it to WHO. For more information, please contact kaojaroenk@who.int.
