National Health Policy Strategy Plan

Plan de transition du Secteur Sante 2015-2017 The Health Sector Transition Plan was developed to respond to new challenges and aligned to the Emergency and Sustainable Improvement Program. The launch of the National Health Development Plan (NHDP III) is expected in 2017

National Health Policy Strategy Plan Priorities

  • Strengthening the Ministry of Health in its governance functions
  • Ensuring the provision of minimum package of essential health services and where possible developing complementary package of services
  • Improving service delivery to the vulnerable groups including maternal, newborn, child and adolescent groups

  • Strengthening emergency preparedness for emergencies and disasters
