In this role, she works closely with municipalities, organizations, and communities to promote age-friendly environments, active citizenship, and the inclusion of older people, in alignment with the WHO Age-Friendly Cities and Communities framework.\r\nShe holds a Degree in Sociology, a Master\u2019s Degree in Social Gerontology , and a PhD in Health Sciences, with a dissertation focused on Age-Friendliness, Subjective Well-being and Active Citizenship.\r\nAt Matia Instituto, her work combines research, policy development, and knowledge transfer to support public institutions in addressing population ageing. She has led and contributed to cross-sectional and longitudinal studies on the living conditions, well-being, participation, and social realities of older people, providing evidence to inform public policy and planning.
