In addition to working collaboratively with key partners the Hamilton Council on Aging and Seniors Advisory Committee, I also lead the annual Seniors Kick-off event and City of Hamilton's Senior of the Year Awards.  I am also the staff liaison for the City's Seniors Advisory Committee.\r\n\r\nPrior to my current role and for close to 15 years, I held the position of Supervisor of Volunteers at Macassa Lodge, a 270-bed long term care facility owned by the City of Hamilton.  \r\n\r\nI hold a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Waterloo and a Volunteer Management certificate from Mohawk College.  I have completed professional development courses in project management, leadership and event management.\r\n\r\nMy interests outside of work include being active, spending time with my family and volunteer work.
