The Sharjah Elderly Care Home, affiliated with the Sharjah Social Services Department celebrated its 40th anniversary under the theme \u201c40 Years of Impact Makers\u201d<\/span><\/strong> during a ceremony held at the Sheraton Sharjah Beach Resort & Spa.\u00a0The event was attended by Ahmed Nasser, Director of Branch Affairs; Mariam Al Qatari, Executive Director of the Care and Protection Sector and Director of the Home; senior residents, strategic partners, and staff members.\u00a0In her address.\u00a0Al Qatari highlighted the Home\u2019s four-decade journey in providing comprehensive care and support for senior citizens, emphasizing its role in enhancing their quality of life and promoting their active participation in society. She reaffirmed the institution\u2019s commitment to continuously developing its services and adopting best practices to ensure the highest standards of care.\u00a0The celebration featured the screening of a documentary titled \u201c40 Years of Impact and Giving,\u201d<\/span><\/strong> showcasing the Home\u2019s achievements and milestones since its establishment.\u00a0Strategic partners were also honored in recognition of their contributions to supporting the Home\u2019s mission and services.\u00a0On the sidelines of the event, the Home organized the \u201cMade by Their Hands\u201d<\/span><\/strong> exhibition, featuring handmade gift boxes prepared by senior citizens.
