The opening ceremony featured the launch of the \u201cSenior X\u201d platform<\/strong>, a pioneering initiative that celebrates the wisdom, achievements, and inspiring journeys of senior citizens. The platform aims to build bridges of communication between generations by highlighting stories of resilience, innovation, and contribution beyond the age of sixty. It aspires to become a global reference for meaningful dialogue, inspiration, and appreciation of the elderly worldwide.<\/p>\n

Ahmed Nasser Al Naqbi, Executive Director of the Branch Affairs Sector at the Department of Social Services, delivered the opening speech, in which he welcomed the attendees and described the forum as a reflection of Sharjah\u2019s vision in empowering senior citizens.<\/p>\n

Al Naqbi emphasized that the sustainability of this forum represents a pioneering approach adopted by the Emirate of Sharjah to provide the highest quality of services for the elderly.
