On Sunday, April 2, 2023, the Amateur Volleyball Tournament took place in the Stegu Arena in Opole. The aim of the tournament was to raise funds for the operation of Viktoria Ga\u0142ecka, who struggles with the ilness of short stature. The tournament was combined with auctions of donated items such as: paintings, Easter decorations, plants, handicrafts, and even a new bicycle. Participants could support the charity event buying delicious homemade cakes and coffee and throwing donations into the cans.<\/p>\n

All employees of the “Senior in Opole” Information and Education Center and numerous volunteers were involved in the organization of this event.<\/p>\n

We managed to collect about PLN 30,000 thanks to the cooperation of many people, from the Municipal Sports and Recreation Center in Opole, the Municipal Family Support Center in Opole, the Council of Seniors of the City of Opole, the District Council of V – Malinka Gos\u0142awice and IX – Stare Miasto Opole, with the participation of the Mayor of the city – Arkadiusz Wi\u015bniewski, as well as all sponsors and donors,.<\/p>\n
