On Saturday, October 1, was the International Senior Day. On this occasion, on Monday, October 3, there was an open day at Senior Center. The event took place in the SC halls from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Seniors could take advantage of a free hearing test. The examination was very popular. It was also possible to get acquainted with the offer of rehabilitation equipment and auxiliaries such as: anti-bedsore mattresses as well as pillows and urological hygiene products. The attending seniors could also take advantage of individual consultations with employees of the National Health Fund on health issues that bother them, as well as consultations with employees of the Social Insurance Institution regarding pensions and their valorization.<\/p>\n

All visitors to the Senior Center that day could count on sweet snacks and hot or cold drinks. An additional attraction was the opportunity to take part in a raffle, in which the participating seniors received gifts and gadgets for giving the correct answer.<\/p>\n

The event was very popular and was attended by a total of about 50 people.<\/p>\n
