The Sharjah heritage institute organized an event for elderly called \u201cProtectors of the memories\u201d within the blessing heritage initiative that is one of the initiatives of Sharjah Age- friendly program which is held in the heritage village of Khorfakkan in Sharjah city. This initiative honored the elderly which include discussion session and paragraph display about heritage games which is presented by the children. The heritage initiative is mainly related to the idea of Sharjah joining the global network of Age-friendly cities as the institute was keen to make this initiative one involving all the department in the city. The initiative as an influential initiative in the development and sustainability of the services geared to the elderly. The efforts that Sharjah heritage institute is to introduce Emirati heritage which is one of the most important addresses and feature national identity and privacy. Preserve and transmit it for generations through various activities that the institute carries out throughout the year. The initiative integrates with the knowledge, scientific and academic side of the institute.<\/p>\n
