The Home Care Department of the Department of Social Services in Sharjah revealed that the physiotherapist team conducts weekly physiotherapy sessions for elderly and disabled people who are bedridden in order to require their continued need for physical therapy. The sessions and health and precautionary conditions are followed. \u00a0Kholoud Abdullah Al Ali, Director of Home Care Department, states that home physical therapy sessions were previously provided as part of the health care package for home care and with this critical health period the provision of sessions was reduced and limited to those who require their health status and access to physical therapy sessions by one session weekly for each member which include elderly. in order to ensure that physical therapy does not stop the elderly and bedridden according to their critical health condition.<\/p>\n

The beneficiary cases according to the requirements that the beneficiary underwent a recent surgery during a period of less than two months based on a recent medical report attached is the doctor\u2019s recommendations; it also requires the presence of intolerable severe pain or the presence of a recent clot, or that the patient \u00a0He is bedridden and has no one to look after him.<\/p>\n

They also provide that the working team presenting the sessions consists of a qualified medical and nursing team that carries out its duties in accordance with the health procedures and procedures followed.
