Alkhalidya district council one of the councils of the Districts and village affairs department in sharjah has launched their social initiative for elderly for the year 2019, which they called it \u201cThey are in our hearts\u201d. This initiative is to dedicate to visit elderly in their homes to check on their health and make sure that they receive the full treatment. In addition, to check that they are comfortable with their families that they aim to strengthen their mission to communicate with elderly to make check they got the full appreciation after they give to the country and their families. His Excellency Khalfan saeed Al-Marri chairman of the council of suburb of khalidiya accompanied by a number visited a number of elderly to sit and talk with them to meet their needs and demands. This visit was a plan prepared by the council to visit 23 elderly distributed over three separated days. This initiative come under the criteria and conditions for follow-up of Sharjah membership in the Global Network of age friendly cities.<\/p>\n
