Recently, seven active ingredient Technical Material (TC) products, previously evaluated by WHO, were withdrawn by the recognized applicants. In so doing, the applicants also withdrew the reference profiles which had been assessed by WHO through the JMPS to support the establishment of WHO Specifications. As such, the publications of the established WHO specifications for the following active ingredient TCs have been removed from the list of WHO Specifications for public health pesticides.

Any existing stocks manufactured prior to 19 April 2022, including those within the channels of trade, which conform with the established WHO specification(s) may still refer to the WHO specification as a standard of quality. Any questions should be directed to pqvectorcontrol@who.int.
